- Fresh water: Many fresh water sources (lakes, rivers, glaciers) are disappearing, and the quality of the fresh water that remains is deteriorating rapidly.
- Food: Every 4 days there are 1,000,000 more people on this planet. As the demand for food increases, we are forced to prepare food in a way that is neither sustainable nor healthy.
- Energy: Without energy, we would not be able to get food and water to the majority of people on this planet. America’s food distribution process for food (just in time food), has reduced the stockpile of food available to 30 days. An energy shortage could be catastrophic. The energy that we are currently using is helping advance changes in our Earth’s atmosphere, environment, and living conditions.
These issues formed over decades, and it will take decades to reshape the way we live into a more harmonious manner. We strive to inspire change in every possible way.
RainDrop Partners has partnered with a 22,000 square foot green house in Denver city limits. The focus of the greenhouse is to provide the local community with access to affordable, healthy food. The greenhouse will also be used as a launch pad to empower residents to begin growing their own food. Founded by local entrepreneur, Paul Tamburello, the greenhouse has already built incredible momentum, and plans on opening first quarter of 2010.
